The Trike’s use in racing turned out to not be a stable ride and this is probably why the development of the Quad Bike took place in America. Quad bike racing takes place over many disciplines including: Grass Track, Super Moto, Ice Speedway, Road Racing, Enduros, Hill Climbs, Drag/Sprint, Moto Cross, Desert and Beach Racing and Speedway. The greatest aspect of the quad is that is so versatile and with very few modifications, can be ready for literally any terrain.

Some international sports stars like Colin McRae were known to own Quads and have been noted to ride them on a regular basis.

This particular article is from someone who booked a stag weekend in brighton, which was chosen because of it’s easy access by train. It is a perfect desitination to be partnered with an afternoon of quad biking. Brighton is also popular for it’s lively bars and clubs, and clothes shops. Therefore the quadbiking was only a part of what appeared to be a great weekend.

The article says If you choose this activity prepare to get a bit dirty! It is great fun trekking through forest, fields or quarries on these bikes and going through muddy ditches and puddles. Quad bikes, or All Terrain Vehicles as they are also known, are very popular for stag party activities.

With this being an off-road experience, the article states that protective clothing is provided, and an instructor is on hand to talk you though the basics of Quad bike riding. Another interesting idea of the event is that you could get a natural track, or a man made track to ride on.

This form of quad biking is different to that you would experience on the road, as you are presented with bumps and obstacles to jump, and you are likely to get dirty.
