There are a lot of talk about quads being made in china etc, cheaper labour rates means products produced in Asia is normal through a surprisingly high number of items in our lives. Your house will be full of products from Asia whether directly or indirectly branded. This is nothing to be concerned by.
Important points to consider;-
Does the dealer have a showroom and operate from credible premises?
Showrooms indicate the dealers intent to operate publicly and may go some way to indicating the dealer will still be where you expect to find them tomorrow.
Does the dealer require monies up front?
Many internet based operators require a certain number of bikes to be bought and paid for before they can finance purchasing quads. These dealers should be avoided like the plague, they are poorly financed and most likely poor in their intent.
Does the dealer sell a range of quads?
A good range of quads demonstrates knowledge of quads and will enable you to choose the correct type of quad for your purposes.
Are they main dealers of various types of quads?
A main dealer indicates commitment to the quad market and should demonstrate a degree of credibility.
Who is building your bike?
Most bikes imported from Asia are transported in crates and require assembly on arrival. It is important to ascertain who is building and your quad before it is used.
Does the dealer operate professionally?
Avoid dealers that don’t appear to operate professionally.
Has the dealer appeared in credible media?
Credible media demonstrates a commitment to the industry and hopefully a reputation accordingly.
